• Payment information — processed and stored securely by Stripe; we never store your full card details
• Government-issued ID — collected and verified through Stripe Identity for cleaner verification. The check is performed by Stripe; Clienr does not store your raw ID document and receives only the verification result

Usage Information:

• Booking history and preferences
• Messages and communications on the platform
• Device type, browser, and IP address
• Session data and platform interaction patterns

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Process bookings and payments
• Verify cleaner identities through Stripe Identity
• Send booking confirmations, reminders, and service updates
• Detect and prevent fraud and ensure platform safety
• Comply with our legal obligations
• Send marketing communications — only with your explicit consent

With Other Users:

Clients and cleaners see each other's names, photos, ratings, and relevant booking details. Full contact information is only shared after a booking is confirmed.

With Service Providers:

• Stripe — payment processing, fraud detection, and identity verification (Stripe Identity)
• Clerk — account authentication and sign-in
• Supabase — secure database hosting
• Mapbox — address autocomplete and map rendering
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• OpenAI — generates a cleaning checklist from booking details

International Data Transfers:

Several of these providers process or store data outside Canada, primarily in the United States. By using Clienr you consent to this cross-border transfer, where your data remains protected by contractual safeguards and each provider's security standards.

For Legal Requirements:

We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Clienr or its users.

We take the security of your data seriously. Our platform uses:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure payment processing through Stripe — PCI-DSS compliant
• Role-based access controls and authentication
• Regular security reviews of our infrastructure

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we do everything reasonably possible to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
