Terms of Service

Clienr is a marketplace platform that connects clients seeking cleaning services with independent cleaning professionals. Clienr is not itself a cleaning service provider and does not employ cleaners — we facilitate connections between clients and independent contractors.

By creating an account or making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

To use Clienr, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use at support@clienr.com

For Clients:

• Provide accurate property details and safe access for the cleaner
• Pay for services as agreed at the time of booking
• Treat cleaners with respect and professionalism
• Secure pets before the cleaner arrives if applicable

For Cleaners:

• Provide services professionally and as described in your profile
• Maintain accurate availability and honour accepted bookings
• Treat clients and their property with care and respect
• Hold valid identification and comply with all applicable laws

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Clients pay a 7.5% service fee on all bookings. Cleaners pay a 12.5% commission deducted from their earnings. Payments are held in escrow until the job is completed and the client confirms satisfaction.

Fee rates are confirmed at the time of booking and displayed clearly in your order summary before payment is taken.

Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the scheduled service time. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a 50% late cancellation fee. Full details are available on our Cancellation Policy page.

Users may not:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Provide false or misleading information
• Arrange payments with cleaners outside the platform to circumvent our fees
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate ratings or the system

If a dispute arises between a client and a cleaner, both parties agree to work with Clienr's support team to reach a fair resolution. Clienr reserves the right to make final decisions on unresolved disputes, including issuing or withholding refunds.

Clienr operates as a marketplace and is not liable for the actions, conduct, or quality of work performed by cleaners or clients. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the amount of fees paid for the specific transaction in question.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
