Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Clienr ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Clienr is a marketplace platform that connects clients seeking cleaning services with independent cleaning professionals ("Cleaners"). Clienr is not a cleaning service provider and does not employ cleaners. We facilitate connections between clients and independent contractors.

3. User Accounts

To use our services, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. User Responsibilities

For Clients:

  • Provide accurate property information and access details
  • Ensure the property is safe for cleaning
  • Pay for services as agreed
  • Treat cleaners with respect

For Cleaners:

  • Maintain valid insurance and required licenses
  • Provide services professionally and as described
  • Maintain accurate availability
  • Treat clients and their property with respect

5. Payments and Fees

Clients pay a 7.5% service fee on all bookings. Cleaners pay a 12.5% service fee deducted from their earnings. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Payments are held in escrow until the client approves the completed work.

6. Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled service. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee. See our Cancellation Policy for details.

7. Disputes

If a dispute arises between a client and cleaner, both parties agree to work with Clienr's support team to resolve the issue fairly. Clienr reserves the right to make final decisions on dispute resolutions.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

  • Use the platform for illegal activities
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Circumvent platform fees by arranging payments outside the platform
  • Create multiple accounts to manipulate the system

9. Limitation of Liability

Clienr is a marketplace platform and is not liable for the actions of cleaners or clients. We do not guarantee the quality of services or the behavior of users. Our total liability is limited to the amount of fees paid for the specific transaction in question.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Clienr harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
