Please read these terms carefully before using Clienr. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Clienr is a registered business name of 18002878 Canada Inc. (Ontario Business Identification Number 1001649925) ("Clienr", "we", "us"). Clienr is a marketplace platform that connects clients seeking cleaning services with independent cleaning professionals. Clienr is not itself a cleaning service provider and does not employ cleaners — we facilitate connections between clients and independent contractors.
Cleaners operate as independent contractors, not employees. They set their own availability, choose their own service area, and decide which bookings to accept or decline. Cleaners are responsible for their own taxes and for any equipment or supplies not covered by a booking.
By creating an account or making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Clients pay a 7.5% service fee on all bookings. Cleaners pay a 12.5% commission deducted from their earnings. Payments are held in escrow until the job is completed and the client confirms satisfaction.
Fee rates are confirmed at the time of booking and displayed clearly in your order summary before payment is taken.
Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the scheduled service time. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a 50% late cancellation fee. Full details are available on our Cancellation Policy page.
Users may not:
We may suspend or permanently deactivate any account that breaches these terms. For cleaners, this includes repeated late cancellations or no-shows, verified quality or conduct complaints, failure to maintain identity verification, or accumulating strikes under our incident system. Serious violations — including theft, abuse, or safety breaches — may result in immediate removal without prior warning. We may withhold a payout tied to any booking under active investigation until it is resolved.
If a dispute arises between a client and a cleaner, both parties agree to work with Clienr's support team to reach a fair resolution. Before-and-after photos and in-app records are the primary evidence in any review.
Cleaners are responsible for any loss of or damage to a client's property caused by their services. Clients should report any such issue through the platform within a reasonable time so it can be reviewed through this dispute process. Clienr aims to review disputes promptly and reserves the right to make final decisions on unresolved disputes, including issuing or withholding refunds.
Clienr operates only as a marketplace that connects clients with independent cleaners. We are not a party to the service agreement between a client and a cleaner, and we do not perform, supervise, direct, or control the cleaning services. You engage cleaners and use the platform at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform and all services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of quality, fitness for a particular purpose, or that a cleaner will meet your expectations. We do not guarantee the conduct, work quality, reliability, or availability of any cleaner, or that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clienr, its directors, officers, and employees are not liable for the acts, omissions, conduct, or quality of work of any cleaner or client, nor for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profit, data, or property arising from your use of the platform. Our total aggregate liability for any matter is limited to the amount of fees Clienr earned on the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clienr, its directors, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, your breach of these terms, or your interactions with other users. For cleaners, this includes the services you perform and any damage, loss, or injury arising from them.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
Independent relationship. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship between Clienr and any user. Cleaners act as independent contractors.
Third-party services. The platform relies on third-party providers (including Stripe for payments and identity checks). We are not responsible for their acts, omissions, or availability.
Force majeure. We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
Severability & entire agreement. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These terms, together with any policy referenced in them, form the entire agreement between you and Clienr regarding the platform.
